Fri, 17 July 2009 This broadcast is a thank you session for all those that have supported
the show recently and over the years. I figured I would compile a
session dedicated to the artist you seem to like the most (recently),
which was Pogo. "Pogo is an emerging electronic music artist in Perth, Western Australia. He is known for his work recording small sounds from a single film or scene and sequencing them to form a new piece of music. His most notable track, Alice, a composition of sounds from the Disney film ‘Alice In Wonderland’, was received with much success gaining 3 million views on YouTube by July 2009. Pogo has since produced tracks from films like ‘Mary Poppins’, ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘The Sword In The Stone’." -Last FM I compiled a bunch of his tracks and mixed them with a few classics, and added a nice dance remix of Cocteau Twins. And speaking of Cocteau Twins, the shows coming out after this are going to hit more from the core of the BNB, with more shoegazer, glitch, and downtempo elements, so stay tuned. Also, check the link below the tracks to access free downloads of Pogo’s individual tracks! Again, thank you so much for listening, supporting, and being a part of the BNB!
Next Week: I'm featuring one of the best remixes I have heard in glitch for 'glitch-a-rama'! Comments[0] |
Fri, 10 July 2009 Sleepyhead Radio sessions are back with 1+ hours of ambient, drone, and heroin house. This session floats through the epic and classic tracks of Ambient pioneers, as well as current droning lullabies of some of newest lullaby allstars. Check out the first track espeically as it hits home with a nostalgic kick of heartache and desire.
Side Note: Thank you to all who helped out with the broadcast. As always, donations are always appreciated with this show. It means the world to me!

Tue, 30 June 2009 Hello Everyone! Rarely do I ever ask this, but in times like these it always helps to ask. As you know the BNB is a free podcast (as all podcasts should be), and I do this show for free because I love music and I love sharing music with you. However I need your support in keeping this show alive, so I'm setting up this fancy donation button! If you can help, that would be great! Thanks!
