Oh I love Sleepyhead Radio. Ambient is so much fun to spin, and I wish that there was more venues were open to hear it. Until then my friends, here pure drone bliss for your slumbering heads. This particular session envokes a sense of placement. You'll be on the rooftops in New York City during a mid-day Summer rainstorm, on the English countryside watching the trains through the rural green fields, over into deep sterile deep space, and down into the nest of your very warm room underneath the sheets in felicity with your bedsheets. .. Or well, at least this is what I see when I'm listening to it. I hope you like this set, as always comments are much appreciated and I love hearing from you!

Fri, 20 February 2009 Hello Lovers. This is the seventh session of Chill Pill, which is all about Chill Out, Downtempo, and Mellow Music. I have an incredible artist featured on the set this week. This group hails from Montreal (and half from Peru), and produces such an amazing experimental gorgeous sound that it paralyzes the heart and satiates the busy mind. They are called "Elsiane" and they are my new favorite chill out obsession (imagine Bjork, Emiliana Torrini, and Paula Cole mixed with a major orchestra). Check out this and the rest of such beautiful calm sound that'll make you daydream during your hectic day.

Sat, 14 February 2009 Happy Valentines BNB'ers! Its the 3rd session of hot heart throbbing electro for your veins. This show encompasses all the tracks I've been saving over the year that encompass the best of Valentines Day Electro! Also on this broadcast is Nicole and Legs from one of my favorite bands ELECTROCUTE. I cannot tell you enough how amazing these girls are, and I really really hope to hear more fantastic music from them in the future. Check out their track "Just As I Am" as the featured song for the set this week. You'll Fall in Love. And speaking of falling in love, I wish you the best this holiday and 2009 and hope you enjoy this and future sets to come.
Next Week: Relax with Chill Pill! Comments[0] |
Fri, 6 February 2009 Oh get ready for the campiness folks. Its the 2nd session of Strike It Up! Which is about 90's campiness and dance. This was a session originally called House of Labejia, but considering the blurry reference, I figured settling for a Black Box reference for all those tykes teens and adults who thrived in the neon 90's! Check it out!
