"Hi I'm currently making my way down 101 South and after 12 hours I've made it only to halfway down Oregon from Seattle. Its been mostly darkness on the coast since sundown happened around the Washington/Oregon Astoria-Megler bridge (which is one of the most amazing things I have ever since in my life).. but even at night, what I can see of the shore is gorgeous.  I've never seen such heights!

I've parked myself in Florence, Oregon. Since its off season, its a ghost town. All the gas stations and stores are closed, and the only thing that sparkles is the random seedy motels offering free hbo in neon splendor. I'm in a Best Western on the upcurve of the coastal highway... and I figured I'd do this set for you... It just seemed so perfect."
